Academic Mental Health Collective Volunteer Opportunity
Are you a grad student or former grad student? Passionate about promoting mental health in academia? Interested in being an advocate for graduate students with mental illness?
The Academic Mental Health Collective is looking for several volunteer team members to take on a variety of responsibilities related to visibility and promotion. Our new team members will work collaboratively with the rest of the team to raise the profile of AMHC, and to increase our social media presence.
We are seeking to diversify our team and are looking for team members whose area of study is outside of psychology. In addition, the AMHC recognizes that struggles with mental illness can be especially difficult for people from marginalized backgrounds, including people of colour, people with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. We would be especially interested in hearing from you if you identify with one of these groups, but we encourage applications from anyone who is interested in engaging with mental health issues and thinking about how they intersect with lived experiences.

If you are interested in this position, please send us an email at amhcollective@gmail.com, telling us a little about yourself and why you’d like to join the team!
